Jessica and Ethan got married on top of Hurricane Mountain at The Mountain House in Keene, NY. Aptly named as it poured most of the day! After making it through the deluge, we arrived to an excited Jessica, getting into the j.crew dress her mother altered with lace from her own wedding gown (so beautiful!) and to Ethan hanging out and chilling with his best man and close friends. Ethan and Jessica were optimistic despite the rain, and both still wanted to get married under the beautiful floral and twig arbor waiting on the mountain side.

The attendees all gathered, huddled under umbrellas as Jessica and Ethan shared heartfelt vows of their devotion to each other. Jessica and her sister Stephanie warned us there would be tears, and tissues were abound. One of the guests brought out a cleverly crafted over sized tissue box, stuffed with paper towels. 

The rain couldn’t damper this party. Jessica and Ethan finished their ceremony by riding off on a Schwinn tandem bicycle. (We have always wanted a couple to have bikes in their wedding, our dreams came true!!)

The best part of the night though was Jessica’s cousin Nina surprising the bride and groom with a song. She was so sweet, and all three of them were in tears by the end of it. 

By the end of the night, we both forgot we were wet and we were rocking out in the photo booth provided by Daddy-O photo booth rentals. Check out the photo of us in the monkey glasses (we couldn’t resist the obligatory mustache shots either).
