Erica & Andy – Married on Burke Mountain

When we initially met Erica & Andy we had an instant connection – and we couldn’t wait to spend the day with them shooting their wedding. With Burke Mountain covered in a romantic layer of fog, Erica & Andy exchanged vows in a beautiful ceremony including a spontaneous reading of Winnie the Pooh and a couple rain drops. They also managed to have the most populated dance floor of any wedding we’ve ever been to. Congrats Erica & Andy, and call us when you’re back to go skiing!

Kristin & Jeff – Sneak peek – Kill Kare State Park

We had an absolute blast catching up with old friends and making new ones at Kristin and Jeff’s wonderfully simple lake side wedding at Kill Kare State Park. If we had to award anyone with the most relaxed and hassle free it would be these two love birds! Great way to spend a beautiful Sunday afternoon. This was the definition of a friends and family backyard style get together.. perfection!

Sneak Peek – Laurel & Chris – married at Shelburne Farms

We had the absolute delight of spending the day with Laurel, Chris, and all of their friends and family on the beautiful and classic Shelburne Farms property. Lakeside housing, acres of untouched greenery, beautifully old architecture and gorgeous weather accentuated the immenseness of Laurel and Chris’ love for each other. There was delicate harp music, elegant vegetarian catering by Vermont Bean Crafters, and an adorable canine member of their family to add to this already perfect event. Congrats Laurel and Chris!

A Sneak Peek at Sam & Cliff’s beautiful Richmond Wedding…

What a way to kick off the season! We photographed Sam & Cliff’s big day on Saturday and it was nothing short of perfection. Quintessential early summer in Vermont – plenty of vibrant colors and warmth from the sun. Between the unbelievably beautiful weather, joyous friends and family, and incredible catering we think the bar was set pretty high for this season. Fun filled day with both military tradition (gate of swords outside of the church) and unique Vermont style (toasting with Rock Art beer). Congrats Sam & Cliff!

Kristen & Neil – engaged!

Kristen & Neil were such a joy to shoot. We headed up to Sugarbush where they’ll be getting married in November to catch some photos while the leaves are still on the trees. The rainy weather did wonders, and brought everything to life. Not only was their shoot incredible, but when leaving the resort, a large black bear crossed the road right in front of the car! We have our bets that thats a sign of good luck for these two. Only in VT. Congrats Kristen & Neil!

Julia & Robert – engaged in Brooklyn

Getting to take photos of people who truly love each other every day is a treat itself, but when we get to shoot in beautiful locations like the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, it’s even better. Julia & Robert won’t be getting married until 2014, but we were able to visit with them while in NYC to take some super sweet engagement photos. They’ll be getting married at the beautiful Overbrook House on Cape Cod, and with talk of clam bakes and lobster, we cannot wait until next June. Until then, we’ll have to savor these photos and the beautiful cherry blossoms.

Maggie & Chris – engaged

We met up with Maggie & Chris while down in the NYC area for a fun engagement shoot with their two dogs, Apollo and Ozma. They’ll be getting married this September at Riverside Farm in Pittsfield, VT. We had so much fun with the two of them and cannot wait until September. We’ve potentially been promised Chris arriving to the altar on his motorcycle… fingers crossed!
